Les Tomates d’Auitou – AVS
For our loyal client, Les Tomates d’Auitou, we carried out the installation of new AVS (active ventilation system) units in their greenhouses. The site director, Mr. Goutoule, decided to double the AVS boxes in the greenhouse to better control humidity.
Located more then 600 meters above sea level in central France, the site faces significant challenges related to humidity and heat management. High humidity increases fungal pressure and requires substantial energy consumption to lower it. AVS units help reduce humidity levels by mixing indoor and outdoor air, then warming it before reintroducing it into the greenhouse through ducts positioned under the cultivation gutters. The installation of these additional AVS boxes not only reduces energy consumption but also limits the use of fungicides.
