Screening Systems and Insect Screens
Every modern greenhouse is equipped with one or more screening systems. Screening systems are also becoming increasingly common in the facades. To reduce disease pressure, insect screen systems are regularly installed in the ventilation windows. All of this is to provide the plant with the right climate, protect it from harmful insects, and of course, to reduce energy consumption.
HortiNed has extensive experience in installing screening and insect screen systems. Not only in new greenhouses, but certainly also in the replacement or modification of existing systems. By utilizing various systems and manufacturers, HortiNed offers the right solution for every greenhouse.
Internal transport, growing trough & others
HortiNed is also experienced in other installations. Besides the “usual” elements such as the greenhouse and heating, we are nowadays often asked to install a growing trough and/or supply an internal transport system in most companies.
The advantages of the growing trough have long been known. These include a more hygienic cultivation, ease during crop rotation, reuse of irrigation water, and improved ergonomics during various crop maintenance tasks. HortiNed has already installed such systems in many projects.
Internal transport
Another increasingly important component in modern greenhouse horticulture is internal transport. With today’s taller greenhouses, more and more crop maintenance tasks need to be carried out from electric carts.
Additionally, projects are becoming larger, with longer harvesting paths. As a result, automated harvesting carts are becoming a serious option for many companies. More and more, we encounter fully or semi-automated systems guided by an induction track embedded in the concrete path.
Besides the efficiency gains these systems provide, the ergonomic benefits are also a significant advantage. Naturally, we collaborate with reputable companies in this area as well.
