Les serres de Corneilla
Les serres de Corneilla, a client from the south of France, near the Spanish border, chose to collaborate with us for the construction of a tailormade semi-closed Modul Air greenhouse. The aspect mainly lies in the specific size of the sections of 4.64 meters, which optimizes the available space between a service building and another greenhouse.
The ModulAir greenhouse, with its additional features such as lateral and horizontal screens, allows for better control of the complex climate in the area. The site is exposed to strong winds and snowfall in winter. The ModulAir system also significantly reduces insect pressure by installing insect nets on all openings.
The client also opted for back up ventilation, allowing the greenhouse to be converted into a classic Venlo system if necessary. The robustness of the greenhouse was an essential design criterium due to the specific climatic constraints of the region.
