After his studies at HTS, Ron worked his entire career in the horticultural sector, specializing in the implementation of climate and heating systems. After starting at Priva and Van der Wilk Heating, he established a heating department at Horconex about 20 years ago. Where Horconex previously purchased installations from third parties, engineering, work preparation, purchasing, and execution were now entirely handled in-house.

Over the years, Ron developed this department, as co-owner of the company, from a one-man operation to a full-fledged heating department.

Twelve years ago, he decided to take a different direction. Ron then played a key role at Van der Hoeven in the development of the ModulAIR climate system, a revolutionary solution for regulating, controlling, and optimizing greenhouse climates.

Ron also has extensive experience in analyzing, optimizing, and renovating existing heating projects. Ron’s deliberate choice to work again within a relatively small organization like HortiNed stems from his ambition to create an optimal installation through close collaboration with the client. He prioritizes custom solutions over mass production, with special attention and direct lines of communication.
